A Week of Halloween

Monday, October 27th
PUMPKIN CARVING
We had our annual Pumpkin Carving Family Night with the Larsen Family (Jackson's sister Julianna and her family).
The kids had a great time carving and cleaning out the pumpkins.

Here we are. One big happy family. The pumpkin 2nd from the right is my nephew Luke's Hedgehog. He's so funny and creative. Usually if Luke does something Kenzie likes it and has to do it too hence the toothpicks in her pumpkin as well (3rd from the right).

Kade and his bat carved pumpkin

Skyler chilin' by the pumpkin ready to carve it himself. This kid is an absolute mess. If we put a knife down or permanent marker anywhere he could reach (which is pretty much EVERYWHERE since he climbs on EVERYTHING) he would grab it and try to do it himself. Thank goodness he's so cute and loves to smile for the camera.

Kenzie showing off the lid of the pumpkin. Why? Who knows why, but she's cute!

SPOOKY GHOSTS

I found this cute craft idea online where you take milk cartons and make whatever kind of face you want with permanent markers and then cut a hole in the back of it and use Christmas lights to make them light up. The pictures aren't that great but the kids loved doing this and it was cheap! Skyler was a mess, again, coloring all over himself. Oh well.

WARD HALLOWEEN PARTY

Every year our ward does their Halloween Party with fun games for the kids and food- Chili, corn bread, hot dogs and root beer. It's also nice because we just walk out our front door and there's the PARTY :) The kids of course had fun and got lots of candy.

SUPERSkyler and Baby Moo Blaine

Skyler ran around sticking out his chest and showing off his muscles the whole night and eating candy. Blaine was a pretty perfect baby the whole night, he just loved being pushed around in his stroller.

Cowboy Kade
(and cousin Tate who was Toad from Super Mario Brothers)

Kade loved the cowboy outfit he put together all by himself especially the fake guns. Of course he's showing off his Halloween bucket that had tons of candy in it. He's so SWEET!!!

Karate Kicking Crazy haired Ninja Kenzie

Of course Kenzie wanted to be a ninja for Halloween; anything but girly. The hair was left over from Crazy Hair Day they had at their school that day. She's loves to do fun stuff like that and could care less what people think of her. We love her for that and for many other reasons of course!

SCHNEPF FARMS

I can't believe I have never been to
this place, it's HUGE.
It was a lot of
fun except that it was pretty hot.

First stop was to get their faces painted. Skyler got a spider and Jacey got a pumpkin.

Next was the train ride. Skyler loved it. Blaine wasn't happy in the picture because he was hungry. Once he was fed he fell asleep for the rest of the time.

My sister Amber and her girls (Jacey and Keely)
