I AM....

The LUCKIEST person on earth to have such an AMAZING husband who LOVES me and SPOILS me all the time.

****WARNING***VERY LONG POST***

For my birthday this year I woke up to Kade telling me I needed to go on a TREASURE HUNT. So he leads me to my first clue where all the other kids were standing by it too:

BEGINNING: To begin your Quest for the "MAGICAL" Present I have for you, you'll need to find your next Clue. The journey to find this clue will take you on "Flights" to "Stair" at what's in "Store" but because of your "Age" I'll make it simple and easy to find once you get there." So I go down stairs and into the storage room for my next clue.

CLUE #2: Glad you found your way to the 2nd Clue. for your next adventure you'll need to search the "Garbages." Of course before you start digging through the Trash...remove the "B.S." If you are still having trouble finding it...Look in the North East "Quadrant".
As I was coming upstairs Kenzie told Jackson "Dad, mom didn't really get this one". Too funny. I did end up figuring it out and headed on out to the garage by Skyler's Quad to find my next clue.

CLUE #3: Sorrsy if I am Makinsg these too easy for you, but I didsn't want this to take too lonsg. For your finasl Clue, you'll need to finsd the "Closest" computer, note that the "s" key keeps adding itself to words it shouldn't. That will be where the "Magic" will take place. So I go into the computer room and open up the closet and there's a sticky note that says "Grab a Good Book". So I pull out the books and behind them is a "Magic" Bullet and another sticky not on it that says "Look inside me". Of course I look inside and besides it being a magic bullet there's another clue for me.

DODGED A BULLET: Uh-OH!....You really thought that this was your final gift? Give me a Break. I know it is cool, but not cool enough for my beautiful, awesome hot Wife...once you find your final gift...you'll need to be fast. There is no time to waste, so look where the underlined words (in this case they are bold) would take you to get what they spell. So off to the kitchen I went for some breakfast. He had a yummy Filberto's Burrito for me and another present. I opened the present and a there was a leotard, which at first I didn't get it I just thought "well this isn't going to fit me it's a size 10 in juniors", but then I found a card and in it were BEYONCE tickets for that next day and on the card it sayed "Your "CAR" will pick you and 3 friends up @ 5pm! CHAUFFER, DINNER, and BEYONCE!!!! WOW was I every EXCITED!!! I had to go and play "All you single ladies" right away.

THE NEXT DAY

I started this day off by going out with my BFF Becky and my Mom. We head on out to Chandler mall for Cheesecake Factory and to do some shopping. I had such a great time with them. THANK YOU!!

So I've been home since 2pm and I'm all ready to go. The front door opens and in walks my Mom. I was thinking "OK she said she had to get back home for something after we went out that morning" and now I know that she had to rest up so she could watch my kids (THANK YOU MOM for watching our kids all night!!), but since my Mom is watching my kids then what is Jackson doing??? I thought "hurray, he surprising me again and going to come with us to Beyonce". Well 5pm comes and me and my sister-in-laws are all anxiously waiting for our Chauffer to pick us up. My mom tells me there's someone at the door for me and who do you think it is?? Our CHAUFFER who is JACKSON, and I must say he was one HOT Chauffer!! So he wasn't going to the concert with us but he was going to be driving us around all night. Got to LOVE him and his get up and the nice HUMMER thanks to our neighbors!

HOT Chauffer and Me
Jenee, Me, Julianna, Jill

Jamie, Julianna, Jill, Jenee

Let me tell you Jackson had it all planned out to the "T" that he even had a pre-made Beyonce CD in the Hummer playing for us. We went and ate at Oregano's and then headed out to the concert.
I had such a GREAT time and absolutely LOVED the concert and the company.
THANK YOU JACKSON for being so thoughtful and wonderful.

I'm GLAD

I AM....YOURS!

Our New Addition

I should really say it's Kenzie's new addition. Our kids have been wanting a pet SO bad since our dog died 2 years ago and well we just haven't really been ready for another one yet. Our options are kind of limited since we share a back yard with Jackson's sister (which we LOVE) but their kids are allergic to a lot of things so that ruled out another dog for us (which really, I'm not too sad about not having to pick-up more dog poo) and we just don't like cats. They have been coming up with some pretty creative ideas on what kinds of pets we could have and most of them have gotten turned down (If I'm going to have a pet inside there has to be some limits like no snakes, lizards, turtles, guinea pigs, etc. for me. Come on now we all know who really is going to end up taking care of the pet). Anyway, Kenzie has to do a report on an animal for her school class during Spring Break and she decides to do one on the pet that she wants (can't give it away yet). Now I'm not the kind of mom that just runs down to the store right away to get my child a pet just because. We have actually talked about this for a while and the responsibilities of taking care of it. Well today my kids decided to get their piggy banks out to count all the money in there. I of course love to count their money with them because I think it's a great way to teach them simple math skills, but anyway they count all of their money and kenzie said "mom, do you think I have enough money for a pet --------"? Well how can you resist a sweet Innocent child wanting to spend all her money she's saved up to buy a pet??? I got the bright idea of "okay let's just go to PETCO and look at this pet and see how much it will actually cost and maybe you could come back with Dad and we'll go in on half of it with you (it's also Spring Break and we needed to get out of the house for a little adventure and my kids LOVE to go look at the pet store). We end up going to PETCO and realizing it's not all that much to get this pet and so I did a little calling to check with dad to make sure it was okay and so, with some rules for Kenzie and this pet, we came to an agreement that she could buy it. So instead of just looking we ended up going home with our BRAND NEW PET............

PARAKEET OSCKAR
(that's how kenzie said she wanted to spell it, HA too funny)

She's so excited to teach her little Parakeet all sorts of tricks and I must say it's pretty cute (at least for now, it's only been 8 hours ;-P )

Happy St. Patrick's Day

So I woke up this morning and thought I would do something fun for the kids for breakfast since it's St. Patrick's Day. They weren't really surprised by the green pancakes, since most of the time they get to pick a color for them, but I'm pretty sure they were a little taken back by the green eggs and milk. I almost didn't want to eat the eggs myself but I had to try them if I wanted my kids to eat them and yes they tasted normal it's just weird eating green eggs. I'm sure Jackson is SO sad that he didn't get to stay for breakfast this morning ;)
Anyway, here's a few pictures of our breakfast this morning.
Hope you all have a GREAT St. Patrick's Day!!

Pinetop and the snow

So it's been a while since the Last Post, and it's not that we haven't had fun, it's just there is so much going on.

The week before the Superbowl we took the Kids up to Pinetop for the weekend with friends Dustin and Maddy.

The kids had a blast, as we Sledded, played in the snow, and even took them up to Sunrise for a day of Skiing.

Kenzie and Kade both did Great. Dad also got a little free time as well to snowboard while the kids were in ski School. both kids passed their classes and Kenzie even went up to midway and off the bunny hill for a few runs with Dad.

We stayed through Sunday and watched the Cardinals beat up on the Eagles for the 1st half, and then Celebrated by tipping back on some Martinellis as they pulled it off at the end. all in all a GREAT weekend. Here are a few pics.

3 Months and Growing Big

Just thought I would put a few pictures of our cute baby Blaine on here. They are things that we have noticed as he's growing up ;)

He has a little Jerry Curl going on

After his bath we've noticed his hair gets all curly on the top. Too bad it doesn't stay like that, it's kind of cute. And too bad all of that cute brown hair is falling out too. I was hoping for at least one brown haired baby.

He has also found his thumb.

Out of all of our 4 children he's the only one that has found his thumb. For all those out there who have thumb suckers, should I worry?? I guess it's really too late for that question. It kind of just seems weird to me that this big boy of mine sucks his thumb. It's cute though I must say. I'm sure he'll be the sweetest boy :) Only time will tell.
