Little Miss Independent

I can't believe my little kenzie is already going to 1st grade and will be gone all day!!! I asked her if she was so excited to go all day and she said, "yes because she was going to be able to eat lunch at school and have a longer recess. :) We'll see how long that one will last :) When Jackson was dropping Kenzie off at school on her first day he was going to walk her to her classroom, since she didn't get to go to meet the teacher (the kids and I had been gone the week before school started to see my sister Delaina and her family that just moved up to Orem), well he pulled up and Kenzie said, "Dad I don't need you to walk me to my class" and Jackson said, "you don't really know where your classroom is or what your teacher looks like, how are you going to find your classroom?" and Kenzie responded back, "well there's Savannah, Daisy, and Jacob Parker in my class I'll just look for them and then line up in that line." We thought that was pretty brave and funny of Kenzie. She is just getting to be our "little miss independent"
